Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
This policy explains what personal information RankDebug collects, why, who we share it with and what rights you have. RankDebug is operated by Porter Bridge, LLC ("we", "us"), which is the controller for the personal information described here.
1. Who we are
RankDebug is a search traffic diagnosis service. Customers connect their websites and their data sources, and we analyse that data to explain changes in search traffic and prioritise fixes. The service is operated by:
Porter Bridge, LLC
131 Continental Dr, Suite 305
Newark, DE 19713
United States
2. Information we collect
Account information. Your name, email address, sign-in method, security settings such as two-factor authentication, the workspaces you belong to and your role in them.
Data from sources you connect. With your authorisation and read-only access, we pull data from the services you connect to a workspace:
- Google Search Console: clicks, impressions, click-through rate and position by date, page, query, country and device, plus sitemaps and URL inspection results.
- Google Analytics: aggregated landing-page, traffic and conversion reports.
- Your CDN (for example Cloudflare): aggregated request counts by time, path, status and crawler, and firewall events.
- Bing Webmaster Tools: aggregated search and crawl statistics.
- GitHub or GitLab: release and deployment metadata such as names, dates and changed file paths. We do not read or store source code.
Data you send us. Deploy records, server access log files, data files, imported exports from other SEO tools, report comments, questions you ask the agent and support messages. Server logs can contain IP addresses and user agents of your site’s visitors; we process them on your behalf to classify crawler traffic.
Public web data. Our crawler fetches public pages of the websites connected to a workspace, along with their robots.txt and sitemaps, and we read public performance data published by search engines for those sites.
Website visitors. What you submit through our contact or demo form or newsletter signup, and basic usage information described under cookies below.
Billing information. Contract and invoicing details. Card details, where used, are handled by our payment processor and never stored by us.
3. How we use information
- To provide the service: ingesting, storing and analysing your connected data.
- To run checks and crawls of your websites and alert you to problems.
- To answer questions you ask the agent and to write reports you request.
- To operate your account, secure it and provide support.
- To invoice and administer your contract.
- To answer contact and demo requests and send newsletters you opted into.
- To understand how our website and product are used, and improve them.
4. Legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, we process account and workspace data to perform our contract with you, website analytics and security monitoring on our legitimate interests, newsletters on your consent, and billing records to meet legal obligations. Our GDPR page sets this out in more detail.
5. AI features
When you use the agent, your question and the workspace data needed to answer it are sent to an AI processing provider to produce the answer. We do not use your data to train models. Text taken from crawled pages or third-party services is treated as data and never as instructions to the agent.
7. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Credentials for connected services are stored encrypted, every connection we request is read-only, and access to workspace data is limited to members of that workspace and to staff who need it to support you.
8. Retention
Long-term history is part of what we provide, so we keep data pulled from connected sources for as long as the workspace exists. Disconnecting a source stops new pulls and does not remove what was already stored.
When you ask us to delete a workspace or your account, we delete the associated data, except records we must keep by law, such as invoices. The data deletion page explains how.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, use our contact form. We answer within one month.
11. International transfers
We are based in the United States and our providers may process data in other countries. Where data from the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland is transferred, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses.
12. Children
RankDebug is a business service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
13. Changes to this policy
We will post any change here and update the date above. If a change is material, we will tell customers before it takes effect.
14. Contact
