OpportunitiesFeature

Your next clicks are already in Search Console

A site with thousands of pages always has pages close to winning more traffic. Opportunities finds them in your own Search Console data every day and ranks them by how many clicks each one could bring back.

Near-Wins

Page and query pairs ranking just below the top results, scored against what they would earn higher up.

Low CTR for the Position

Results that earn far fewer clicks than their position should, measured against your own site’s click curve when there is enough data.

Decay and Cannibalisation

Pages losing clicks faster than the rest of the site, and queries where two of your pages keep swapping places.

Clicks at Stake

No flat lists

Every opportunity carries an estimate of the clicks it puts on the table, so the list is already in the order you should work through it. The estimate uses your own click-through rates by position once your site has enough data, and a general curve until then.

  • Recomputed daily on a rolling window of settled Search Console data
  • Pairs with too few impressions to judge are left out
  • Decay is measured against the site’s own trend, so a seasonal dip does not flag every page
  • Evidence attached to each item, and a CSV export of the full list
Ask About It

Discuss the list with the agent

The agent can read your opportunities, pull the queries behind one, inspect the page and tell you what it would change first. It works from the same data you see in the dashboard.

  • Ask which pages to fix this week and why
  • Ask what a decaying page lost and when it started
  • Ask which of two cannibalising pages should own a query

Opportunities: questions and answers

Where does the data come from?

From your own Search Console property, connected read-only. These are real clicks and impressions, not estimates from a third-party panel.

How do you estimate clicks at stake?

We compare what a page earns now with what a result at a better position or a normal click-through rate earns on your site. It is an estimate meant for ordering work, not a promise.

Can I mark an opportunity as fixed and see if it worked?

That is the next step we are building. Today you work from the ranked list; fix measurement, with a before and after on the affected pages, is coming soon.

Does it suggest keywords I do not rank for yet?

No. Opportunities works from queries you already appear for, which is where the fastest wins usually are.
