Bing Webmaster Tools

Connect Bing Webmaster Tools with an API key to add Bing search data and crawl statistics.

Bing's index matters beyond Bing's own share of searches, so it is worth watching alongside Google.

Create the key

  1. Sign in to Bing Webmaster Tools. If the site is not there yet, add it. Importing it from Search Console verifies it in one step.
  2. Click the gear icon at the top right, open API Access, then API Key, and generate a key.
  3. Copy the key.

Connecting

  1. On Connections, click Connect Bing Webmaster Tools and paste the key. RankDebug checks it with Bing before saving it.
  2. Choose this website from the sites in your Bing account.

What is pulled

  • Bing clicks and impressions.
  • Top queries and top pages.
  • Bing's crawl statistics: pages crawled, crawl errors and pages in the index.

Each call to Bing returns its full recent history, so one daily sync pulls everything again and keeps it current.

The agent can answer questions over Bing data as well as Google's.
